It's Alive!

And I'm back online, with one of the countrys crappiest ISP's ever, however. The only one that could provide a -somewhat- decent service in the area, after all the DSL companies being botched over by Telia/Skanova who upgrade the station with a total of 15 lines.

Now, I'm here with a more stringent 8/1Mbit connection through a cable. Decent speed, latency is a bit high though.

oh, And another eloge to Phelia, who obviously compete with the Sirius Cybernetics Company about being the first against the wall when the revoultion comes.

For a few years now, a company called bredbandsbolaget (BBB for short) now, BBB offers a reasonably cheap (300-400 SEK/month) 10/10Mbit copper connection. Phelia goes in on the buisness, there is cable in this house provided by them. Copper, ethernet, Cat-5 to the wall. Happy joy as I discover this.

A few calls later and they tell me they offer internet cable, party and hope. Now, in their divine wisdom, they have a market-valuable connection of 200kbps.. or a 500/400 kbps connection, for only 200SEK/month.

Thats right. 0.2 or 0.5/0.4 Mbit/s connections. Compared to their main competitor's 10/10 ....

WHAT THE ... ARE THEESE PEOPLE THINKING WITH?
