Insomnia again, decided to do something good instead of chatting in #gnome all day. pushed Gnome 2.6.2 into stable on Gentoo. Go me :)
Hope I wont be bitten by too many breakages now.
Okay, my blog has been gone for a week or so, but now I'm back in power again ;)
I also got pictures from GUADEC 2004 up online, They are a bit edited by imagemagick in a script to upload them, but no cut and so on. I guess I should have done that, but I like the amateur feeling ;)
Several pointed out the likeness, both when I was there, and after seeing the picture.. do you see it?
Fix gnome-session so it builds without esound
look at creating a thumbnail purger (eog code might be a start, gnome-settings-daemon might be a good place to hook it in...)
re-edit the usability BOF notes
look at implementing highlight/background for icons
HAL+utopia builds for Gentoo
Theese are some of the notes that appeared during the GUADEC usability BOF.

Well, back home again, earlier than I first had intended, only because the trains I had intended to be on were all full-booked. Yehaw. Ended up in the first class cabin on a train with wireless internet+power outlets... without a wireless NIC in my slaptop. Well, I spent the trip playing freeciv and oogling through a movie on fast-forward. Was too unconcentrated to really watch anything.
The week I spent in Oslo with einmyria was quite wonderful, calm, not too much internet, and most of the time I was even focused enough to sit through a complete movie without balking completely. Goodie. Some quite nice excursions into Oslo City, where I spent all too much money on Grendel comics and Music :)
Overall, I'm tense after the train, my back hurts after the same + the walk. but the trip was wonderful. Thankyou.
Well, it came down to the bar, and we were discussing GPG keys and signatures, when at some point he compared his NSA file with Khadaffi... My beer went up my nose, and somewhat stayed there... *wry smile*
I must also post this wonderful picture of sxpert... ;-)
More pictures from GVADEC and more comments are to be upcoming, stay out of tune ;)
